  • Virtual Crime Prevention 101

    SPPD Virtual Crime Prevention 101.  A 45 minute workshop covers how SPPD operates, when to call police, how calls are prioritized, dealing with problem properties and more.

  • Car Seat Checkup

    Car Seat Clinic- SPPD in partnership with Region’s Hospital is hosting a car seat clinic at West District on Jan 28th.  You do need to pre-register for the event.   SPPD will check the car seats to get them installed correctly.  If SPPD can’t use the seat safely, they will replace it.  If a family does not have a car seat, they will provide it.  The law changed last year, and children should be in a booster until 9 years old or until they pass a 5-step test.
