Live {Music} in Lex-Ham

Calling all Lex-Ham musicians! We would like to fill the air with music in our neighborhood this summer. Our goal is to have something each week that neighbors can stroll to and enjoy while practicing social distancing.

You can play in your front yard, back alley, porch, or rove around the streets. It’s up to you! We are happy to help spread the word and work through any logistics with you. Here is the link to the sign-up.

Please choose a week and submit it, then share any details you can about your music/location/time/date in the comments box. If the slots fill up, we can easily promote additional dates, we’re just trying to spread out the happiness. Contact Amy at the Lex-Ham office with any questions at lexham@lexham.org.

In our next Sunday Soirée series, please join us to enjoy some performances on cello by Elizabeth Golnik and a performance of the very short one-act comedy play, Sure Thing by David Ives. The play’s story involves two people who meet at a café and engage in a conversation. When the conversation goes awry, they are able to back up and start over – a perfect metaphor for how we all feel about 2020.  The play features a cast of Lynne Vannelli, James Satter, and Christine Dezelar-Tiedman.

To keep things as Covid-19 safe as possible, bring a chair or blanket to
sit at a safe distance from the performers and other audience members
